Due to the environmental impacts of refrigerant gas, there are strict licensing requirements on the purchasing, handling and disposal of Air conditioners and their associated refrigerants.
This means that companies are required to have an Arctick handling licence in order to complete repairs and you can be rest assured, Air DC is fully accredited with the Arctic Council of Australia (AU3996)
To combat the increasing number of sub standard contractors in the marketplace, all companies must hold a QBCC licence in addition to the normal Arctic licence and contractors insurances.
This is a great initiative by the government. Not only does it deter dodgy contractors, it also gives consumers the back up of a regulative authority should contractors fail to do a good job.
